Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 11, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL.Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL.Memorials may be made to: The Cheryl L. Mayberry Fund.Cheryl was born June 30, 1952 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Paul E. and Mary (Mossbarger) Curtis. She married Thomas J. Mayberry, Jr. on December 8, 1986 in Decatur, IL. Cheryl worked as a nurse at Community Research Center and Macon Resources. She loved to read, do crafts and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. Cheryl loved her grandchildren dearly, along with her family and friends.She is survived by her husband Thomas, Jr. of Decatur, IL; children Sean Curtis and wife Brandi and Kristi Eckart, both of Decatur, IL, Matthew Mayberry and wife Sherry of Arab, Alabama, Nicole McKenney and husband Josh of Cullman, Alabama; 9 grandchildren: Zach, Devon, Makayla, Kristyn, Taylor, Faith, Anna, Walker, and Elise. father Paul E. Curtis and wife Rose of Decatur, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law Thomas and Mary Mayberry;sisters Sandi Beckler, Rebecca Hollingsead, Yvonne Justus, Rose Parkerson; brothers Ronald Curtis, Bill Hunt, Royce Hunt, Rod Hunt; nieces and nephews Linzey Beckler, Mary, Ashley, and Katie Curtis, Alicia Justus, Sarah Doty, Sandy Mayberry, Bobby Mayberry, Donny Mayberry, Christopher Riley, Stephen Riley, Scott Justus, Coady Curtis. She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and two brother-in-laws.She was a loving wife, grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt.
