Cheryl Grant

Cheryl A. Grant, 58, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She is forever resting comfortably and healed in God’s loving arms.Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be assisting the family with arrangements.Memorials may be made to the family or Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU.Cheryl was born April 7, 1958, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Robert and Gladys (Brinkman) Mollet. She married James Grant on June 6, 1981 in Decatur, IL.Cheryl was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a medical assistant for Dr. Kahn and worked as a C.N.A. in several nursing homes. Cheryl enjoyed reading.She is survived by her husband Jim of 35 years; sister Diane (Michael) Sheffield of Decatur; nieces Bobbi Tatum of Omaha, NE, Erin Bolletta of Auburn; nephews Sean (Heather) Sheffield of Shiloh, IL, Matthew Bolletta of Auburn; great nephews Tanner and Colton; mother-in-law Patricia Grant of Decatur; sister-in-law Mary (William) Bolletta of Auburn; and her beloved cat Snuggles.She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
