Cheryl Freeze

Cheryl L Werren Freeze of Decatur, IL passed away 6:10 PM Friday, August 8th, 2014 at her residence in Decatur, IL. Cheryl was born in Bloomington IN, the daughter of Pamela Bega of Inverness, FL and H. Thomas Werren of Warrensburg, IL. Cheryl graduated Cum Laude from Weber State University,Ogden,UT majoring in Microbiology and Chemistry. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1990. Cheryl worked in the field of microbiology/chemistry here in Decatur, IL and Delray Beach, FL. She was a substitute teacher for Decatur School District at times. Cheryl's early school years were spent in Citrus County, FL and Decatur, IL school district, graduating from Stephen Decatur High School in 1983. In whatever activity Cheryl was involved with, she was a high achiever. Her greatest love in life was her two daughters, Jill A. Ostrander and Sabrina R. Disalvo, cherishing every moment with them. Cheryl was predeceased by her maternal grand parents William and Ruth Bega of Floral City, FL. Left behind to cherish her memory are: Her parents Pamela Bega of Inverness, FL, Tom Werren of Warrensburg, IL, Her daughters, Jill A. Ostrander of Decatur, IL and Sabrina R. DiSalvo of Batavia, NY, Aunt Carol S. Mullins, (sons Billy Combs, Chuck Combs, Steve Combs) of Bloomington, IN., Uncle Joe Bega, (Linda), (daughter Janet of Inverness, FL,) Brother H. Travis Werren,(Kimberly), (daughter Gabrielle) of Decatur, IL, "Special Aunt" Linda Werren, Warrensburg, IL. and many other friends and relatives. Cheryl will be dearly missed by all those who loved her. A memorial service will by held at Mound Chapel Church of God, 109 E. Manchester Dr., Decatur, IL, Monday, August 25th at 6:00 pm. The Officiating Ministers will be Arvo and Dixie Palm-Leis of Decatur, IL. "
