Cheri Quinlan, 66, of Decatur, passed away peacefully at her home on March 10, 2025.
A Celebration of Cheri’s Life will be held at a later date. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Cheri was born December 31, 1958 in Florida, the daughter of Richard and Shirley Harshbarger. She worked at Walgreens for 23 years. Cheri was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, liked watching NASCAR, enjoyed watching TV and truly loved taking care of her animals.
Surviving are her daughter, Shawn Lahniers of Decatur; son, Brandon Tulak of Decatur; mother, Shirley Harshbarger; two grandchildren: Breanna Lahniers and Shelbi (Bailey) Reynolds; great-grandchild, Vayda Reynolds; siblings: Deb (Vern) Marshall of Decatur, Paula Huckile of Iowa, Tammy Creason of Decatur and Kelly Harshbarger; special friend, Ted Campbell; dear friend, Laura Jewell; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cheri was preceded in death by her father, Richard Harshbarger and two brothers, Mike Embree and Bill Embree.
