Visitation will be Monday, May 24th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 25th at 10:00AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church immediately followed by burial at Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.Mrs. Mahan was born November 8, 1917 in Decatur, daughter of Otto and Hazel Rambo Denz. In 1944, Charlotte married Frank H. Mahan, who in 1989 preceded her in death. Charlotte was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles.She was a first grade teacher and a dance instructor, a lifelong member of First Lutheran, a Millikin University alumnus, a member of Delta Delta Delta and Alpha Delta Kappa, the Kiwaniannes and Ladies of the Moose. She was proud of being a classroom volunteer through Project Success until age 91. Mrs. Mahan is survived by her son, Mike and wife Georgia of Brazil, IN; daughter Linda and husband Bernard of Oakland City, IN, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
