Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 10, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 9, at the funeral home. The family requests casual dress. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Memorials may be made to Barclay Library, Warrensburg, IL. Military rites will be conducted by Macon County Honor Guard. Charles Chuck was born in Moweaqua, IL on October 14, 1927. He was the son of Chester and Mayme (Smith) Wickline. He married Mary J. Koons in Decatur on August 30, 1947. He retired from Skeff Distributing after 28 years of service and Anheuser-Busch products for 46 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Chuck was a Golden Eagle member of the Clinton Eagles Aerie 593, a 50 year member of the Decatur Moose Lodge 684, and a member of the Pana Sportsmens Club.He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 63 years; and three sons, William Bill Wickline and wife Carol of Englewood, OH; Dennis Wickline and wife Barbara of Mesquite, TX, and Curtis Wickline of Decatur; nine grandchildren, Stacy (Mike) Downing of Bolingbrook, IL, Heather (Dave) Woodside of Decatur; Carrie (Matt) Reynolds of Decatur, Daniel Wickline of Latham, IL, Natalie (Jerry) Stocks of Mt. Zion, Nathan Wickline of Macon, GA, Nicole Wickline of Decatur, Jennifer Wickline of College Station, TX, and Stephanie Wickline of San Marcos, TX; five great grandsons, Cameron Downing, Haiden Stocks, Connor and Darius Woodside, and Casen Reynolds. He is also survived by four sisters, Betty Church of Washington, IL, June (Robert) Speckman of Decatur, Ida Wickline of Taylorville, and Sue (Don) Younker of Blue Mound.He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy Leek, Ethel Erwin, Jean Wiley, and brothers John, Robert, and Richard Wickline.He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
