Charles Reynolds

After his honorable discharge in December of 1945, he married C. Juanita Winn of Marion, IL on June 8, 1946. He worked for the Kroger Company as an Assistant Store Manager in Paducah, KY, and as a Store Manager in Cape Girardeau, MO, Anna, IL, Herrin, IL and at both Kroger stores in Decatur, IL until his retirement.He was a member and past Commander of VFW Post # 1567 in Herrin, IL. He was also a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Carterville, IL, a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur, IL and Central Christian Church in Decatur, IL.He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years Juanita, two sons, Michael (Rhonda) and James (Susan), four grandchildren (Amanda, Matthew, Nathan and Erin) and one great-grandson (Brayden), his brother, Ernest (Jean Ellen) and his sister, Jeanne.Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 13th at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home on North Oakland Avenue, Decatur, IL at 10:30 am with visitation one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be at a later date.
