Charles Heneghan

Charles "Chuck" E. Heneghan, 67, of Decatur, IL, passed away 6:15 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014, at Mt. Zion Township Cemetery, in Mt. Zion, IL. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Decatur Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation. Chuck was born January 13, 1947 in Decatur, IL, the son of Donald Matthias and Virginia (Green) Heneghan. He married Roberta "Bobbie" K. (Whitacre) on July 25, 1970 in Decatur, IL. Chuck worked for Caterpillar Tractor for 35 years, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring old cars and hot rods and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bobbie of Decatur; children Andrea R. Stubblefield and fiancé Bryon Hursh of Decatur, IL, Matthew S. Heneghan and wife Martha of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Kolton T. Stubblefield, Quinn M. Heneghan, both of Decatur, IL; sisters Nancy Blakeman and husband Jim of Mt. Zion, IL, Donna Heneghan and partner Cyndi Hughes of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers James P. and Thomas P. Heneghan. "
