Charles Disney, 80, of Decatur, IL, passed away 1:40 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, November 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Charles was born February 7, 1934, in Decatur, IL, the son of Charles Samuel and Margaret (Lawyer) Disney. He married Joyce Bentz on February 16, 1952 in Decatur, IL. Charles was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville, IL. He worked as a machinist at A.W. Cash, before retiring after 20 years of service. Charles enjoyed trains and going to races at Macon Speedway and loved watching sports. He is survived by sons Stephen Disney (Robin) of Wood River, IL, Robert Disney (Barbara) of Pana, IL; daughter Cynthia Hagler (Bill) of Demorest, GA; 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce and five sisters. "
