Charles Raymond Dills, 89, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 9:28 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, October 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Macon County Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society. Charles was born June 26, 1923, in Decatur, the son of Benjamin and Maude (Moody) Dills. He married Juanita Oliver on March 6, 1948, in Decatur. Charles was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, serving 3 years in India. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Charles worked and retired from MetLife serving as assistant manager, Montgomery Ward as assistant manager, Sears as sales clerk, and Coldwell Banker Real Estate as sales agent. He enjoyed wine dinners, wine tasting, and traveling. Surviving are his wife Juanita of Decatur; sons Steven Dills of Decatur and Mark Dills of Severna Park, MD, and grandchildren Jocelin, Evan, Christopher, Gavin, Conner, and Corinne. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Pam Bouchard. "
