Chad Ward

Chad Michael Ward, 35, of Decatur, IL, died unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Decatur Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation, P.O. Box 633, Decatur, IL 62525. Chad was born July 17, 1976 in Decatur, IL, the son of Denny and Marsha (Patient) Ward. He graduated from Decatur Christian School and Richland Community College. He also attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, IL. Chad will be remembered for his laughter, friendliness and compassion that he showed to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his parents, aunt, uncle, cousins, and many friends. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Shadow and Samantha. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one uncle. "
