Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Parkway Nazarene Church.Mrs. Vowell was born September 6, 1914, in Decatur, the daughter of David and Kathryn (Vice) Jones. She married Jesse Leroy Vowell June 14, 1936, in Decatur. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Vowell retired from Sunbeam Bakery Thrift Shop after many years of service.She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Joe) Lahme of Decatur; granddaughter Pam (Eugene) Davis of Decatur; great grandchildren Steven Davis, Brian Davis and Jessica Davis; great great grandchildren Briana Davis, Bradley Davis, Rilee Kupiec, and Chayse Davis.Mrs. Vowell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and three sisters.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lincoln Manor, Decatur Memorial Hospital, and Dr. G. Patel. "
