Carolyn Ann Matson, 84, of Decatur, died at 8:40 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be left to the charity of the donor's choice. Carolyn was born December 31, 1929 in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Charles and Nell (Bangert) Reister. She married Donald Lee Matson in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was a home maker in her own home, loved to read, and loved to visit with friends. Surviving are her two sons, Charles W. Matson and wife Tammy of Noblesville, IN, Robert Matson and wife Jennifer of Owensboro, KY; and three grandchildren, Katie Wilson and husband Travis of Noblesville, IN, Kyle Matson of Noblesville, IN, and Kimberly Matson of Owensboro, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Betty, and two brothers, Chuck and Bob. "
