Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL.Memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.Carolyn was born on October 15, 1939, in Friends Creek Township of Macon County, IL, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Sefton) Largent. She married Frank W. Critchelow on April 26, 1963. Carolyn was affiliated with New Beginnings Church of God.Surviving are her husband Frank of Decatur, IL; mother Helen Largent of Decatur, IL; son Brian Critchelow and wife Crystal of Sullivan, IL; daughter Marlene Mercurio and husband Andrew of Albany, NY; son Rodney Critchelow and wife Jaime of Decatur, IL; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters Melba Largent of Chicago, IL and Elaine Brunton of Jarales, New Mexico.Carolyn was preceded in death by her father.
