Caroline Oxendale

Caroline Oxendale, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound, IL. Memorials may be made to donor's choice. Caroline was born October 23, 1929, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Lawrence and Martha (Miller) Humbarger. She married Lynn R. Oxendale on September 3, 1948, in Lansing. Caroline was a member of First Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband Lynn of Decatur, IL; daughter Sharon Oxendale of Amarillo, TX; son Gary (Doriann) Oxendale of White Hall, MI; grandchildren Nathan and Ashley Oxendale, and Issac and Eli Oxendale; MI; brothers Lawrence (Betty) Humbarger Jr. of Bellevue, OH and Donald (Glenda) Humbarger of Lima, OH; and sisters Betty Geisler of N.C. and Darlene Bracey and husband Arnold of Lapeer, MI.
