Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Camp Butler Cemetery. Memorials: Maranatha Assembly of God Church.Carol was born April 30, 1947 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Herman and Naomi (Croy) Crawley. On March 14, 1973 she married Harley A. Butch Strohl. Carol was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God Church.Carol leaves behind her husband Butch; two sons Brian Strohl of Decatur, Eric Strohl and partner Robert of Springfield, IL; one daughter Crystal Strohl and husband Justin Sy of Mt. Zion; granddaughter Abigail (Abby) and Grandson Owen of Mt. Zion; Step-son Christopher Strohl of Georgia; step-granddaughter Baily and step-grandsons Andrew and Ashton of Georgia. She also leaves a twin brother, Darrel Crawley and wife Loretta (daughter, Tina) of Belvedere, IL. She also leaves two sisters.Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister. She also leaves behind a precious dog, Freddie, who was the light of her life.The family would like give a special thank you to all the nurses at DMH on 4100 for all of their love and care.
