Carl Moore

Carl Moore, Jr. 86, of Decatur, IL, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Mason Point, Sullivan, IL.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 5, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Air Force Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macon County Genealogical Society, Lincoln Trails Council B.S.A., or Decatur Memorial Hospital Helen Cleland Fund.Carl was born January 24, 1932, in Holland, KY, son of Thomas Carl and Ruby Pearl (Meadows) Moore. He married Constance M. Brumaster on June 13, 1964, in Decatur. Carl served his country with the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War. He was a registered nurse.Surviving are his wife Constance M. Moore of Decatur; sons: Cary A. Moore and wife Cindy and Chris A. Moore and wife Denise, all of Decatur; grandsons: Christopher, Kyle and Kolton Moore; sisters: Mary Jo Harrison and Elizabeth Jane Hagen, all of Decatur; and brother: Charles Edward Moore of Palm Springs, CA.Carl was preceded in death by his parents and sister Doris Ann Cole.
