C. Imogene Jones, 67, of Boody, Il, was called to her heavenly home, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 17, at Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Sunday, February 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charities. Imogene was born March 29, 1946, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Casey and Elsie (Grigg) Whitten. She married Charles Jones November 25, 1967, in Decatur. Imogene worked as a nurse for Drs. Griffith, Pettit, Chadwick, and Sobol at Otolaryngology Associates of Decatur (Enta), where she showed much care and compassion for her patients. Mrs Jones had a smile that could light up a room. The lives she impacted through her love and passion for people were countless. She truly had a servants heart. Imogene valued God and family. She enjoyed boating, Jet skiing, and Tubing at Lake Taylorville with Jillian, Morgan, and Macie, her grandkids. When it came to sporting events, whether it was her kids, or grandkids, she was their biggest fan. She enjoyed weekend get-aways with her husband, Charlie. She was an avid Illini and Cardinal fan. She was a devoted daughter, loving wife and the best mom. Her legacy shall live on. She will be loved and missed by all the many lives she touched. She is survived by her best friend, loving, and devoted husband Charles of Decatur; sons, Chad Jones and wife Stacey of Decatur, Bruce Jones (Sue) of Oreana, Brian Jones and wife Erin of Decatur; Dog cassie who she loved dearly, sisters, Linda Shields (Bob) of Decatur, Judy Hawkins and husband Norman of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Imer Whitten and wife Diane of Tampa, FL, Stan Whitten and wife Sharon of Forsyth, IL, Ken Whitten and wife Jenny of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jillian Jones, Morgan Jones, Macie Jones, and Taryn Maurer. Imogene was preceded in death by her father. "
