Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, February 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.Ted was born June 13, 1935, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Millard and Bessie Blancett. He married Christie Henson on November 12, 1988 in Beloit, Wisconsin.Ted was a member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church. He was a salesman for K Reinke Insulation Company in Illiopolis. Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of the NRA.He is survived by his wife Christie of Decatur, IL; daughter Jody (Cody) Parks and their children Tucker and Madison of Mt. Auburn, IL; brothers Cecil and Dean Blancett, both of Decatur, IL.He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lola Bass and Dorothy Luttrell, brother Norman Blancett, sons Michael, Kevin and Charles.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
