Brian L. Kohlbecker, 62, of Decatur, passed away October 10, 2024 at his home.
A Memorial gathering will be held at a later date at the Long Creek Community Center. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Brian was born June 20, 1962 in Decatur, the son of Bernard and Janet (Hock) Kohlbecker. He worked at Mueller Co. in Decatur for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was away from work.
Surviving are his sister, Amber Kohlbecker (Anthony) of Decatur, and sister-in-law, Celeste Kohlbecker of Normal; nieces: Nicole Kohlbecker, Rachel Kohlbecker-Smith (Mike), and Ashlea Ballant; nephews: David Ballant, Brice Ballant (Sam), and Shawn Ballant (Kayla); 8 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Barry Kohlbecker; and his beloved dog, Georgie
