Brian Hughes

Brian Gregory Hughes, age 33, formerly of Warrensburg, IL passed away in his home from Coronary Artery Disease on January 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur at 2:00pm. Visitation will be 12:30-2:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Greg was born on March 27, 1980 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Howard "Gary" and Gail (Magin) Hughes. Family was always first to Greg. He was a big sports enthusiast and a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He held a Master's degree in Science from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. He was working towards his goal of becoming a Physician's Assistant. Greg leaves behind his 3 ½ year old daughter, Rowan; mother, Gail Hughes; sister, Gina (Tom) Krigbaum; nephews, Jakob and Jarod Krigbaum; Uncles, Steve Magin and Richard (Carol) Magin; and Rowans mother, Jennifer Eubanks along with many other loving family members and friends. He has joined his father and best friend, Gary; his grandparents, Glenn and Margaret Hughes and Theodore and Albina Magin in Heaven.
