Brenda Hart

Brenda Cox Hart, 68, of Decatur, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Monday, October 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Brenda was born September 11, 1951, in Decatur, the daughter of James Richard and Matilda Olene (Taylor) Cox. She married Steven C. Hart December 31, 2002, in Decatur. Brenda was the display director for Bergner’s for 34 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and was a great artist. Brenda is survived by her husband, Steven of Decatur; brothers, Byron Cox and wife Stephani of Decatur, and Bruce Cox of Latham; sister-in-law, Cathy Workman and husband Mark of Decatur; brother-in-law, Donald Hart and wife Shirley of Mt. Zion; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marilyn Cox. "
