Brenda K. Haenig, 59, of Decatur, IL, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 7, at Second Church of God, 2670 E. Division St, Decatur. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, October 6, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in East Frantz Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.Brenda was born November 28, 1957, in Decatur, IL, daughter of George and Dorothy Vonetta (Salmons) Poling.Brenda was a member of Second Church of God. She retired from Sears Auto Center after 26 years of service.Surviving are her children: Courtney (Nick) Pritchett of Decatur, Derek (Cindy) Fitzpatrick of Niantic, and Chelsea Haenig of Decatur; grandchildren: Zachary, Jorden, Hayley, Austin, Brendan and Jacob; siblings: Sheree (Jim) Schinzler of Decatur, Faron (Lisa) Poling of Decatur, and Christie (Eddie) Perry of Mt. Zion; and many nieces and nephews.Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kevin. "
