Bradley James Thomas, 60, of Decatur passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Moundford Free Methodist Church, 1803 E Mound Rd., Decatur, IL.
Bradley was born January 29, 1964 in Decatur, the son of Arleigh and Carole (Williams) Thomas. He married Lenn Wright on December 21, 2015 in Decatur. Bradley was very handy working in maintenance for apartments and working on automobiles. He loved to play golf, especially at Moweaqua and enjoyed watching TV and reading the news on his phone.
Surviving are his father, Arleigh Thomas; wife of 9 years, Lenn Thomas; son, Seth Thomas of Blue Mound and his mother Cathy (Roger) Cox; sister, Kathy (Steve) Altherr of Decatur; nephews: Erik (Lorena) Potrafka and Jared (Cindy) Potrafka; niece, Kristin (Mike) Stephens; great-nephews: Miles, Maxwell and Maverick; great-niece, Victoria; mother-in-law, Donna Burkett; step-children: Brittany (Chris) Ginger, Christopher Wright and Tiffany Wright; grandchildren: Dylan Ginger, CamRon Wright, JazLenn Young, Karma Wright, Gracelyn Ginger, and Jackson Ginger; uncle, Ronnie Thomas (Janice) and several cousins.
Bradley was preceded in death by his mother, maternal and paternal grandparents and his beloved Doberman, Colbie.
