March 30, 1960 — July 20, 2015

Brad "Bird" Larrick, 55, of Cerro Gordo, IL, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, with visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cerro Gordo Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Cerro Gordo American Legion Post #117. Memorials may be made to the family. Brad was born March 30, 1960, in Decatur, IL, the son of Jack and Anna Rose (Meyerholz) Larrick. He married Kelley Gross on November 2, 1996, in Cerro Gordo. Brad was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Cerro Gordo American Legion Post #117. He worked for Parke & Son Warehouse. Brad was a volunteer for the Cerro Gordo Youth League. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, sports, NASCAR, and in the Cerro Gordo Boy's Racing League. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his children's sporting events. His past time was playing softball for many years as a pitcher and coach for his children's ball team and his women's team. Surviving are his wife Kelley of Cerro Gordo; children: Kraig and fiancee` Nicole, Kaleb, Kristie, all of Cerro Gordo, and Bradley of Oklahoma; mother: Anna Rose of Cerro Gordo; grandsons: Brance and Layne of Oklahoma, Braylon and Hudson of Cerro Gordo; brother: Doug Larrick and wife Susan of Cerro Gordo; sister: Tina Martina and husband Joe of Cerro Gordo; several nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law: Mike and Pat Gross; and his puppy Pujo. Brad was preceded in death by his father, son Brance Larrick, and brother-in-law Mikie Gross. "
