Bonnie Roles

Bonnie Shirley Roles, 92, of Decatur, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Fair Havens Christian Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 until service time. Private family burial will be held. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.Bonnie was born November 23, 1925, in Lovington, the daughter of Thomas William and Mayme Ethel (Lawson) Barker. She married Wayne Newton Roles in Decatur on July 24, 1948. He preceded her in death in June of 2008. Bonnie worked as a cashier at Tolly’s and was a lifetime member of Church of the Brethren, Decatur. She is survived by her sisters, Madge Clymer of Indianapolis, IN, and Ethel Roles of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
