Billy Lee Little, 64, of Latham was received into Heaven on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Memorial visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Inurnment will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Latham Fire Department, Latham Rescue Squad, or to a charity of your choice. Bill was born in Decatur on July 16, 1950, to Floyd Earl Little and Violet Mae (Taylor) Little of Maroa. After graduating from Maroa High School, he married his best friend Diane Lowe on June 16, 1972, in Decatur. Together they had a child, Michael Lee Little, in 1974 before moving to Latham, Illinois, to raise their family. Bill was a welder at Caterpillar for 37 years. He was an avid bowler, bowling his first 300 game in 2012. He was also a Packers and Yankees fan and an ardent supporter of the Maroa-Forsyth football program. Bill is survived by his son, Michael, and husband, Roger, of Chicago; his ex-wife and still best friend, Diane Little, of Decatur; brother Lloyd (Sonny) and wife Bernadine of Latham; and sister Nancy Johnson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
