Beverly JoAnn Russell, 85, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, with her family by her side.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2024 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Private family burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Oakley, IL.

Beverly was born September 6, 1938 in Decatur, the daughter of Judson and Ruth (Connard) Guest. She married Dean Russell Sr., and he preceded her in death. Beverly worked for many years in retail at JC Penney, Carson Pirie Scott, and most recently at Walmart. She and Dean enjoyed riding motorcycles and they traveled extensively with their motorcycles across the United States. Beverly was also a pet lover. She loved her cats and dogs, and always made sure her birds and squirrels were fed. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Warren (Rick Carron) of Decatur, and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Russell, Sr.; son, Dean Rusell, Jr. and brother, Fred Guest.
