Beverly Ann Roach, 93, of Decatur, IL, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Keystone Meadows, Decatur, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 17, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Beverly was born November 2, 1919, in Bellefontaine, OH, the daughter of Neil Theodore and Esther (Phillippi) Thompson. She grew up in Wausau, WI, where she graduated from Wausau High School. She then worked for Employer's Insurance of Wausau, where she met her husband Neal F. Roach, from Oak Park, IL. They were married October 16, 1943 in Wausau, WI and then moved to Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2006. Beverly was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. In Decatur, she worked for J.C. Penney's, doing the advertising for the Decatur store. She retired from there at age 57. Beverly lived in South Side Country Club for 57 years. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and was a Brownie Leader. She is survived by her loving children Kathleen R. Lustig and husband Julian of Milwaukee, WI, Sally Trautner of Scottsdale, AZ, Tim Roach and wife Cheryl of Niantic, IL; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Jack Thompson. "
