Beverly Kraus

Beverly A. Kraus, 82, of Decatur, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 25, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7 P.M. Sunday, September 24, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois or Central Christian Church. Beverly was born September 24, 1934, in Decatur, the daughter of Fred and Pauline E. (Matthew) Nash. She married Harold Kraus in Decatur on November 27, 1964. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2006. Beverly was a member of Zion Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Central Christian Church. She was also a member of the Home Extension, Grace Notes singing group, and the Ladies Red Hat Club. She is survived by her children, Rodney (Pam) Kraus of Warrensburg, Diane (Rob) Goss of Bartonville, IL, Brenda (Ron) Richter of Harrison, AR, Randy (Kerry) Kraus of Palmyra, MO, Steve (Anne) Kraus of Oakdale, CA, Kent (Hilde) Kraus of San Antonio, TX, Lynne Kay of Lillington, NC, Robin (Jeff) Deem of Midlothian, VA, and Debra (Harold) Witt of Decatur; companion, Bob Logan of Decatur; 19 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Rosemary McCoy, one son, Harold F. Kraus, and a great grandson. "
