Beverly Denton

Beverly L. Denton, 86, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her daughter Tina’s residence. Memorial services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, December 10, 2018, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 - 12:00 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice. Beverly was born February 13, 1932, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Grover L. and Ida Mae (Cherry) Robison. She married Raymond “Butch” Denton on May 31, 1974 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death in August 2003. Beverly was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She loved wood crafting, gardening, and decorating her house. She is survived by her children Linda K. Fry of Decatur, William A. Mullendore of Decatur, Tina M. Cole of Decatur, Cindy Y. (Thelma) Langston of Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; sisters Betty J. Porter of Leander, TX, Judy R. Barnes of Shelbyville; brother Grover “Joe” L. Robison, Jr. of Decatur; brother-in-law Howard Nolan of Sullivan, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchild Jason, and one sister Connie.
