Beverly (Hoehn) Chappell, 85, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024 at Haven of Bement, Bement, IL.
She was born on December 13, 1938, in Decatur, the daughter of the late Eugene and Loraine (Van Meter) Hoehn. She married Louis Chappell and he preceded her in death.
Beverly was the owner/operator of a printing business.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren, Michael Louis Chappell and Cassandra DeeAnn Chappell, both of Decatur; and 4 great-grandchildren, Cadence Lea Eller, Zayne MacArthur Tyus, Ariah Azell Chappell, and Zander Michael Tyus.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Michael Chappell; a brother Donald Hoehn; and 2 sisters, Donna Brewer and Mary Himbert.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will take place at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, at a later date.
