Betty Walker

Betty Halo Walker, 84, of Macon, died Friday, February 11, 2010, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be 11:00 Tuesday, February 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cerro Gordo American Legion Post #117.Mrs. Walker was born December 5, 1925, in Colorado, the daughter of Mike and Ethelyn (Bell) Baulesch. She married Delbert Wayne Walker December 30, 1942, in Hastings, NE. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Walker worked out of her home as a beautician for 55 years. She was an avid Cub and Illini fan, and a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary. She is survived by her son Michael (Alona) Walker of Macon, and son Bill Walker of Decatur, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Cecile Merritt.The Walker family would like to thank Imboden Living Centers for the care and love they provided Betty for the last seven years.
