Betty Lou McLain, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away on May 3, 2024.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside Service will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Westside Cemetery in Moweaqua, IL.

Betty was born on February 7, 1933 in Assumption, IL to Theodore Richard Trueblood and Leora Sydney (Younker) Trueblood. Betty was a devoted housewife and mother.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Coleman; 5 grandchildren: Tyler McLain, Dalton Coleman, Sarah McLain, Felicia Coleman, and Jessi McLain; along with her 3 great-grandchildren.

Betty was a member of the South Shores Christian Church and in her younger years she volunteered helping with different projects. She was an avid reader. Betty loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Otis Leon McLain; son, Timothy L. McLain; and her 4 siblings.
