Betty Jane Johnson, 83, of Illiopolis, IL, died 4:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at Niantic Christian Church, Niantic, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery, Niantic, IL. Memorials may be made to Niantic Christian Church. Betty was born March 2, 1931 in Lake Fork, IL, the daughter of William and Bessie (Sherwood) Koehler. She married C. Clifford "Tobe" Johnson on December 14, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2004. Betty was a member of Niantic Christian Church and Women's Group. She is survived by her sons Charles E. "Chuck" Johnson and wife Marty A. of Illiopolis, IL, Philip "Phil" Johnson and wife Nancy S. of Niantic, IL; grandchildren Amy Johnson and husband Joe of Dayton, IN, Scott Johnson of Illiopolis, IL, Caitlin (Johnson) Wickline and husband Cody of Assumption, IL, Rob Johnson of Niantic, IL; great grandchildren Miles Johnson, Mazy Johnson, and Tenley Wickline; brothers Darrel Koehler and wife Blanche of Morton, IL, William G. "Pudge" Koehler of Lincoln, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and four sisters. "
