Betty Funkhouser

Betty I. Funkhouser, 86, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 1:05 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 6, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 5, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Betty was born on March 17, 1933 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Grover A. and Myrtle C. (Hannah) Benson. She married Bob H. Funkhouser on April 23, 1971 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death. Betty was a kitchen supervisor for Adolf Meyer in Decatur, IL. Betty is survived by her daughters: Pamela Roan of Decatur, IL and Tina Campbell of Oreana, IL; grandchildren: Amy Cassell, Holly Flenner, Chris Roan, Amber Saul, and Zack Campbell; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Rick Perkins, one great-granddaughter Ava Roan, three brothers and two sisters. "
