Betty Jo Campbell, 66, of Warrensburg, died Monday, April 12, 2010.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with Pastor David Catron officiating and Pastor Norm Eitner assisting. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.Jo was born April 18, 1943, the daughter of Emma and Bailey Sullivan. Her mother passed away shortly after birth. Jo was raised by an older sister and her husband; Opal and Vic Childress. Jo graduated from Niantic Harristown High School. Jo married Michael E. Johnston and they had three sons. On October 18, 1986, Jo married Roger Campbell. He survives her. Jo has worked as a realtor in Decatur for over 30 years. She has been recognized with many awards throughout her career. Most notably, GRI Realtor of the Year 2002. Jo also loved to volunteer her time to sponsor children in the Big Brother Big Sister Organization. Jo was a member of Life Foursquare Church.Jo is survived by a sister Jean Jones; a brother Gary Sullivan; three sons and their wives; Michael T. and Peggy Johnston, Brent and Angie Johnston; Christopher Johnston. She is also survived by five grandchildren Mackenzie and Mallory; Holly; Kennedy and Christopher; and four step grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters.Jo loved to spend time with her family and friends. She took great pride in her grandchildren and was very active all their lives. "
