Bertalan Kiraly, 78, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in his home. A Memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Bertalan was born September 1, 1937,in Polgar, Hungary. He married Louise J. Centola on St. Patrick's Day in 1977 in Decatur. Bertalan was a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired welder. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing. Bertalan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his Hungarian friends. Surviving are his daughter: Veronika Reid of Maroa, IL; grandchildren: Amber Harnish of Decatur, IL, Seth Reid and Isabella Reid of Maroa, IL, Vincent Kiraly of Decatur, IL, Alysa Kiraly of Champaign, IL; great-grandchildren: Amalia Kiraly and Cale Chandler, both of Decatur, IL. Bertalan was preceded in death by his parents, son: Vincent Kiraly, brother: Pista, sister: Veronika, uncle: Tiber, and brother-in-law: Janos. "
