Bernadine Clark

Bernadine Clark, 95 and 11 months, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at McKinley Court Care Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 25, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Bernadine was born May 16, 1922, daughter of Carl and Emma (Rosine) Holley. She married Woodrow W. Clark July 3, 1939 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death March 17, 2001. Bernadine was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was born in Mattoon, IL, grew up at Todd’s Point and graduated from Findlay High School. Bernadine was a LPN for several years at St. Mary’s Hospital and a farm wife.Bernadine loved her family, cooking big family meals, camping out with grandkids, going to grandkids ball games, her senior bowling buddies, and would whoop you at all the card games. She was a 60 year member of Antioch Christian Church. She is survived by her son Dan and Shaee Clark, daughter Linda, many grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids, and sister JoAnn Gregg.Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Carolyn Morr, great-granddaugher Madison Morr, parents, and brothers Mel and Len Holley.
