Becky Rotz

Becky Lynn Rotz, 63, of Decatur, IL., passed away at 2:33 A.M. on Sunday (04-01-2012) at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday (04-07-2012) at Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. with Reverend Mark Kaley officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Cancer Care Specialists, D.M.H. Hospice, or Donor's Choice. Becky was born on June 22, 1948, in Effingham, IL., the daughter of Bert J. Ward and Wanda (Hanson) Ward. She married Harry Rotz on June 8, 1979 in Findlay, IL. Becky worked at Illinois Power for twenty six years. Other than family, Becky had a passion for cooking and travel. Her peers at the work place called her "Becky Crocker". Becky planned and guided us on several cruises, this was an exciting time, enjoyed by all. Ten years we lived in a retirement community in South Texas. Becky had many friends and they have shown their love by the cards, flowers, and phone calls over the past year. Everyday she expressed her love for her many friends here in the Decatur area that have visited her in the hospital and at her home, and who also sent flowers. She is survived by her husband Harry Rotz of Decatur, IL.; sons: Chad Rotz and wife Holly of Forsyth, IL. and Scott Rotz and Dee Dee of Decatur, IL.; daughter: Jodi Trusner of Gainesville, VA.; brother: Wesley Ward of Denver, CO.; grandchildren: Adam Trusner, Matthew Rotz and wife Erin; Micha Rotz and one great-granddaughter: Elysa Rotz. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to give special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and Minister's, all were very special to the family. "
