Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of Central IL, 210 W. McKinley, Decatur, IL 62526. Beatrice was born March 31, 1918, in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of John H. and Mary (Nixon) Major. She married Henry E. Baker on September 12, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death. Beatrice was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church. She worked for the Warrensburg School District as a secretary, custodian, and lunch time supervisor. She received an award for the #1 Warrensburg Latham Sports Fan. She is survived by her grandchildren Lawrence Harmon and wife Angelia of Warrensburg, IL, Mark Grabb and wife Lucia of Shelbyville, IL, Lisa Lutchka and husband Brad of Moline, IL, Linda Harmon of Decatur, IL, Danielle Williams of Decatur, IL, Andrea Mitchell of Fredericksburg, VA; great grandchildren Emy Lutchka of Moline, IL, Matthew Grabb of Shelbyville, IL, Dylan Wedde, Mykaela Bududgeon, Damon Dudgeon, all of Decatur, IL, and Anakalia Mitchell of Fredericksburg, VA; many nieces and nephews; brother John H. "Bud" Major of Manhattan, IL; sister Emogene Robinson of Warrensburg, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, daughters Emogene Grabb and Mary Harmon, brother William R. Major. "
