Barbara Hackl

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home Decatur, Il with visitation 5 to 7 PM Monday December 27th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL Memorials: Warrensburg -Latham Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Barbara was born July 4, 1932 the daughter of Clifford and Irene Barding Burke. She married Jack Hackl Feburary 13, 1952 in Decatur, IL Barbara was a receptionist for Dr. Mormino and a cook for Warensburg -Latham schools for several years. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1950 and was a member of First Brethren Church. Family was always her first priority and the love of her life. She enjoyed shopping, eating out on Fridays, gardening and attending to her sheep were a favorite hobbies. Surviving: her husband Jack: daughter-Ralonda (Larry) Cunningham of Maroa, IL; sons- Leland (Brenda) Hackl, and Keith (Lisa) Hackl both of Warrensburg, IL; brother-Terry (Jackie) Burke of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Aaron Cunningham, Kimberly Miller, Paul Wood, Brittany Ferriell, Shannon Hackl, Jordan Ferriell and great-grandchildren Bryce Miller, Sean Hackl, Hayli and Hanna Ferriell; and leaves behind her precious pug Dolly She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother. The family would like to thank Dr. Dold and the nursing staff at Decatur Memorial Hospital ICU South for their loving care given to Barbara. "
