Barbara Eldridge 78, of Decatur, IL died Saturday May 2, 2009, at her residence with her family by her side.Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday May 6, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with Dr. Charles Witte officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials: American Cancer Society.Barbara was born July 5, 1930, in Decatur, Il the daughter of William Federick and Ruth (Carver) Bayne. She married Byford Eldridge on October 9, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, IL.Barbara was a homemaker and a member of Moose Lodge # 36 and was a member of Central Illinois Council of Higher Degree and Academy of Friendship. She is survivied by daughters: Nancy (Daniel) McCain, Jane Gardner both of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Matthew (Erika) Dial, Justin ( Jennifer) Dial, Stefanie Gardner; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Elizabeth Dial, and David Dial. She was reunited in Heaven by her husband-Byford, parents and two brothers.The family would like to thank Dr. Guaglianone, Cancer Care Specialist Staff and DMH Hospice and Caregivers. "
