Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 25, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, February 24, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association. Barbara was born October 27, 1949, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Ray and Pina Elnora (Mueller) Best. She married William R. Edmiston on October 6, 1990 in Decatur, IL. Barbara liked doing WordSearch, enjoyed reading, and watching NCIS. She was an avid Cardinal fan and was a member of AARP. She is survived by her husband William of Decatur, IL; son Jeremy Whitlatch and fiancee' Sandi Drummond of Mattoon, IL; sisters Sharon (companion J.C. Johnson) Best of Elkhart, IN, Mary (Carl) Thacker of Decatur, IL; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Beverly Biggerstaff of Peoria, IL, Carol (Joe) Denney of East Peoria, IL, Mary Edmiston of East Peoria, IL, Peggy (Tim) Foster of Bartonville, IL, Donna Arbogast of East Peoria, IL, Pam (Steve) Davis of Lovington, IL, Charles Edmiston of Decatur, IL, Joyce (Rick) Beemie of Peoria, IL, Larry (Pat) Edmiston of Norfolk, VA; many nieces and nephews.
