Augusta Tetley

Augusta Marie Tetley, 96, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Imboden Creek Living Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 26, at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Dove RSVP or Life Builders Church of God. Augusta was born October 20, 1919, in Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Fiedler) Lake. She married Clarence A. Tetley on January 16, 1937, in Vandalia, IL. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1983. Augusta was a member of Peoples Church of God. She worked as a sales clerk for Block & Kuhl and Carson Pirie Scott, retiring in 1977. Surviving are her son: Clarence Wayne Tetley and wife Patsy of Mt. Pulaski, IL; daughter: Barbara Josserand and husband John of Decatur, IL; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Augusta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence, two brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandson. "
