Arlene L. (Brown) Lichtenberger, 71, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brown Cemetery in Macon County. Memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Pet Shelter or Donor's Choice. Arlene was born November 20, 1943 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Charles and Wilma (Davidson) Brown. She married Paul "Dutch" Lichtenberger. Arlene was a member of Zion Chapel United Methodist Church. Throughout her working career, she worked at the Macon County Building, then as a receptionist at First National Bank in Decatur, and most recently in the Records Department at the Macon County Sheriff's office. She was a dog lover, enjoyed baking and cooking, and was a devoted Cubs and NASCAR fan, with her favorite driver being Jimmy Johnson. She is survived by her brothers Dave (Sally) Brown of Blue Mound, IL, Larry (Carol) Brown of Blue Mound, IL; sister-in-law Carol S. Brown of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Todd, and her pet dog "Baby". "
