Anthony Jared “A.J.” Hart, 21, of Oakley, IL, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in West Frantz Cemetery, Oakley, IL. Memorials may be made to: Megan Hart Education Fund (for his sister).Anthony was born July 22, 1995, in Decatur, IL, the son of Anthony Wayne and Brenda Dee (Polley) Hart. He worked at Crown/Nissan as an automotive technician, and loved his truck and motorcycle. He enjoyed his dogs, fishing, and playing in all sports, basketball, football, and track.He is survived by his father and mother Tony and Brenda Hart; sister Megan Hart, all of Oakley, IL; maternal grandparents Ed (Jessie) Polley; paternal grandparents Michael Hart, Sr., Virginia Hart, all of Decatur, IL; uncles Mike (Angie) Hart of Decatur, Duane (Lori) Polley of Harristown; aunt Sandy (Keith) Kinzler of Davis Junction, IL; and many cousins.
