Annette Summers

God called Annette home to fly with the angels on 05/13/2019 at Fairhaven Christian Village. Funeral service will be held Tuesday May 21st at First Lutheran Church in Decatur at 11 am with visitation at 10 am. There will also be a visitation Monday May 20th 4pm to 6pm at First Lutheran Church in Decatur. Annette was born October 26, 1947. She was 71 years young. Annette was loved and cherished by her family and friends and valued the time she spent with them. Annette was a kind, caring, and loving wife, mother, and friend. Annette is survived by her husband of 52 years James, her two sons Scott and Brian (spouse Robin). Annette had 5 grandchildren, Devin, Hayden, Zachery, Zoe, Parker and one great grandson Liam Mckittrick. Her grandkids meant the world to her. Annette was preceeded in death by her parents Vernnell and Thelma Brooks and 1 sister Francis Kay Brooks. Annette was very active with First Lutheran Church in Decatur and was adored by all that knew her, especially the ladies in the quilting group. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made out to the quilters of First Lutheran Church of Decatur.
