Anna Anderson

Anna (Ann) J. Anderson, 89, of Champaign, formerly of Decatur, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center, Champaign, IL. Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation at 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Decatur, National Parkinson Foundation (www.parkinson.org), or to the charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Anderson was born March 1, 1925, in Miami County, Indiana, the daughter of Virgil R. Kendall and Esther M. (Roth) Kendall. She married Carl (Andy) E. Anderson September 4, 1948, in Westfield, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. Ann loved her family very much, valued her many friends and was active in volunteering and church activities. Surviving are her son Stephen K. (Vicki) Anderson of Champaign, IL, daughters Kathleen L. (Roger) Rickman of Sunbury, OH, and Susan K. Anderson of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren Amanda Rickman of Port Richey, FL, Emily Rickman of Baroda, MI, Rachel (Kelly) McPheters of Wood River, IL, Sarah (Pete) Laufersweiler of Affton, MO, and Ian Anderson of Champaign, IL; great grandchildren Logan Laufersweiler and William Laufersweiler of Affton, MO; and sister Mildred Chambers of Greenwood, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and one brother. "
