Ann Doyle

Ann Elizabeth (Sharps) Doyle, 80, of Decatur, IL passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at the Imboden Creek Living Center. Cremation to be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Imboden Creek Living Center of Decatur, IL. Ann was born on June 14, 1934 in Decatur, the daughter of Amos and Mary Sharps. She married Frank Donald Doyle on June 4, 1956 and he has preceded her in death. Ann was retired from Montgomery Wards after 25 years of working in retail sales and serving as a personnel manager. She also worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital for several years. Ann enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to donate clothing to places that needed them. Ann is survived by three children; Don L. (Jodi Lynn) Doyle of Decatur, IL; William W. (Beth) Doyle of Pittsburgh, PA; and Barbara A. Wright of Sullivan, IL. Ann is also survived by two sisters; Sandy (Ronnie) Carmean of Madison, WI; and Mary Perkins of Decatur, IL; along with 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, David. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Imboden Creek for their compassion and care. "
